Itinerary

On arrival at Kathmandu and Nepal international airport received warmly by our staff and guides and transfer you to your hotel in the heart of Kathmandu, on checking into your rooms, meet at hotel lobby for group briefing regarding the treks and necessary information.

    Morning after breakfast leave the hotel for exciting guided sightseeing around Kathmandu where our city guide will lead you to places of interest, Kathmandu a metropolitan city still retains its ancient heritage and varied ancient culture where you will visit world heritage sites around Kathmandu for half day or full day.

    After an interesting and wonderful tour of ancient historical and religious sites around Kathmandu, with afternoon free preparation for next day journey to Nepal Mid West at Pokhara.

      Morning as per group size either in tourist coach or private cars where drive takes you to Nepal Mid West at scenic Pokhara city by its serene Phewa Lake, a beautiful touristic spot adorned by natural beauty of mountains and lakes.

      Reaching at Pokhara after an exciting overland journey transfer to hotel by its calm lake side, with time to walk around this interesting city with views of snow capped peaks of Annapurna and Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’.

        From Pokhara morning drive leads to outskirt of Pokhara at Kande facing wonderful views of Annapurna range of peaks, from Kande a small village where first walk leads to climb into cool forest area to reach at beautiful and scenic spot called as Australian Camp or Thulo Kharka a huge cattle grazing field with marvelous panorama of Annapurna, Manaslu range with Machhapuchare Himal.

        After a nice refreshing break descend into forest and climb up to a nice village of Potana and then on uphill walk to Deurali rewards your with wonderful views, and then downhill for a while and then on gradual winding path to nice farm village at Landruk for overnight stop with views of Annapurna South and Huinchuli peaks.

          Morning descend for short while to cross a bridge over Modi River and then climb on stone steps to reach at large and interesting village of Ghandruk mostly populated by Gurung people, the hill tribe of Annapurna region.

          Here with time in the afternoon for short walk around village to witness local culture of great interest with views of snow capped mountains.
           

            From Ghandruk with pleasant stay in nice lodge, morning short climb on top the village and with gradual walk for a while and then uphill into cool shade of forest to reach a small place at Bhainse Kharka, in the middle of rhododendron forest.

            After a nice break walk continues on nice forest path to reach at Tadapani for overnight stop with fabulous views of Annapurna range of peaks

              After leaving Tadapani in the morning with grand views of mountains, where our route leads into a hidden trail often ventured by few trekkers, as walk leads to climb within dense rhododendron-oaks-magnolia-pines and fir tree lines, in spring time it will magic when wild flowers are in season bloom.

              As walk continues into pure wilderness to reach a small clearing at Dobato located in the middle of forest with exceptional panorama of Annapurna range of peaks with majestic Machhapuchare Himal towards north direction.

              Dobato will be one of the highest point of the adventure, actually a cattle herders temporary shelter due to flow of trekkers, where few lodges has been built to cater the needs of travelers, here either in tented camps or in the comfort of simple basic lodge.

                From Dobato onward in complete wilderness within thick forest and summer pasture area, as morning walk leads to reach another Bhainse Kharka and then downhill to reach a small clearing with few huts and shades at Chistebung.

                After a short break and possible lunch stop afternoon leads to steep climb on leaving tree lines behind to reach at scenic and marvelous ridge of Kopra a stunning place for views facing Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Nilgiri’s, Annapurna Fang / Vara Shikar with Annapurna South.

                Overnight in simple lodge at Kopra or in tented camp with glorious panorama of mountain views.
                 

                  Slowly our marvelous walks within hidden areas comes to an end as morning walk leads downhill past Chistebung, and back into forested area with more descend to reach at nice Poon / Magar village in Sauta village.

                  Sauta village offers grand views of Dhaulagiri range of mountains with time here to explore this nice farm village.  

                    From this lovely farm village where walk leads into a well hidden path into dense deep forested area for few hours and then climb up to high hill to reach another Deurali, a place with some few lodges facing wonderful views of Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchare Himal.

                    After possible lunch stop back on the main trails as walk descend to reach a small village of Banthati enclosed within a deep gorge

                      Today  end of our marvelous walk and adventure as walk leads to short descend with climb up to Tadapani and then on good trail to reach back at Ghandruk for lunch, afternoon descend for a short while to catch our transport for short interesting drive to Pokhara to complete our wonderful Annapurna Hidden Trail trekking.
                       

                        Morning taking an interesting overland journey from Pokhara on the same exciting highway with views of snow capped peaks and driving past farm villages and towns to reach at Kathmandu

                              Insurance policy for Medical and Travel:

                              Should cover medical insurance for illness and emergency evacuation by Helicopter or other means of transportations including other expenses on treatment at respective countries hospitals, as for travel insurance against bad unfavorable weather conditions, delay or cancellation of domestic flights on mountainous area where flight involves on the start of trek and at the end.

                              Travel and Medical Insurance also needs to cover when clients break the journey in the middle of the trip, due to sickness-personal domestic problem etc………

                              Guide and Porters for 14 Days Annapurna Hidden Trail Trekking : 

                              On treks or climb where you will be accompanied by our expert guide who knows the area on route of the trek chosen, we have professional and veteran guides to led the trek where you can feel comfortable, as our guide are knowledgeable offers you various information of the country from history-geography, culture to flora and fauna.

                              All guides have gone through basic medical training that includes high altitude symptoms or AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) can help you with simple medical First Aid and for severe condition will support taking you to safe area or to nearest hospitals by any means of quick transportation.

                              Our guides are well versed in Eco-Trekking and Responsible Tourism as well and are committed in keeping the environment on trekking route in pristine form as it was.

                              Porters are picked can be regular porter of the company of hired in Kathmandu-Pokhara or in Lukla on start of the trekking, with always a strong and cheerful porters to carry your heavier luggage, baggage of 15 to 25 kg maximum weights to carry by each porters, we do not allow underage porters of below 16 years of age or above 50 years.

                              Porters and guide are well looked after by the company with good wages, medical insurance, travel allowance including meals on treks and climb company also provides warm gear in winter as well for high and cold altitude.

                              What to Bring during 14 Days Annapurna Hidden Trail Trekking?

                              Clothing and footwear

                              • Trekking boots (should be warm, waterproof, breathable, cover and fix the ankle)

                              •  Sports sandals with a closed toe or sneakers.
                              •  Flip flops , Sun cap , Wool or fleece hat , 2 pairs of gloves/mittens (1 thin, 1 thick,}

                              • Duffel bags for trek will be perovided on Day 2 should be returned after the trek is over.
                              • Backpack 20-30 liters with rain cover (optionally with drinking system)
                              • Sleeping bag (comfort temperature around -5 C). On the upper lodges they usually provide woolen blankets. You can rent a sleeping bag in       Kathmandu, $1-2 per day.
                              •  good quality headlight with new batteries and a spare set of batteries.
                              • Sunglasses (category 3-4) + hard case , Trekking poles , Thermos 0.5-1 liter.
                              • ealed packaging for documents and money , Sitting mat (optionally), Power bank.

                              • Although the walk leads to the hidden trail only for day hike, rest of the trekking will be on the main trail. Where there are few small settlements with simple huts as lodge to serve the trekkers. Spending overnight stops in a nice and cozy simple lodge accommodation with good foods to enjoy.

                              • Spring and autumn times are the best, the spring begins from march to May. Most days are fine and clear for views and pleasant walks, this is the time when wildflowers are in seasonal bloom. Especially the rhododendron flowers of different colors and species. Days are much longer with enough sunlight, but morning and nights are cold, chances of light rains and snow-fall sometimes.

                                The next best time is autumn from September to November, most days are crystal clear with blue sky. As well as for excellent views of snow clad peaks and scenic surrounding, days are much short. Due to limited sunshine hours, cold morning, late afternoon and night time, can expect snow-fall sometimes.

                              • On this Hidden Trail Trek, visitors will be surprised to find the facilities for charging electronic gadgets or items. On leaving the main villages with proper hydro power electricity, on off the beaten tracks. The lodge owners have their own electricity run by solar power in ever overnight stops.

                                Where guest can charge the electronic items, a small charge to be paid for using the charging per hour basis and for each gadgets.
