Best Time to Visit in Nepal

Nepals climate varies with its topography and altitude. It ranges from the tropical to the arctic. The low-land Terai region with its maximum altitude to approximately 305m, which lies in the tropical southern part of the country, for instance, has a hot and humid climate that can rise above 45 Degree Celsius (113 Degree Fahrenheit) during summer. The mid-land regions are pleasant almost all the year round, although winter nights are cool. The northern mountain region, around an altitude above 3300m has an alpine climate with considerably lower temperature in winter as can be expected.
Best time to visit in Nepal is: September, October, November & December and another season is March, April & May:

September, October and November are (autumn) season:
This is the best trekking season in Nepal which offers you excellent weather and spectacular mountain views and temperatures are excellent not so cold and not so hot. We can provide trekking in all regions for this season. The trails will be full of trekkers. This time is the best time for trekking Nepal in , where the weather is mostly sunny and the air clear after the monsoon rains.

December, January and February are (winter) season:
The winter season in Nepal will be cold and there will be snow above the 3500m, but we are able to trek to the regions of Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, as well as many other areas. We should prepare for the trek with good warm clothes and you will need the experience of hill climbing in winter to be able to cope with this. The preparation should be the same if you wanted to ascend one of Nepals climbing peaks for example.

March April and May are (spring) season: 
This is also one of the best trekking seasons in Nepal. The temperature is quite moderate and it is a colorful season in the jungle, as many flowers such as rhododendrons (National flower of Nepal) are in complete blossom and the mountain views are excellent. Temperatures are brilliant in this season and many trekkers come to visit Nepal at this time.

June, July and August are (summer) season:
This is the most preferable season to trek in the rain shadow areas like Upper Mustang, around Annapurna, Upper Manang, Manaslu and Upper Dolpo, etc. These regions are out of reach of the rain clouds because of the huge mountains and unaffected by the monsoon. This season is also good for forest researchers and botanists. During this time, a raincoat and insect repellents are strictly required.
