Gokyo to Everest Base Camp Trekking one of most fascinating and adventurous journey that leads you into far north corners of high and scenic Khumbu valley at beautiful Gokyo lakes.

Walking from main route from Lukla after reaching with sweeping flight from Kathmandu in a small aircraft of 30 minutes on air, Lukla a popular Sherpa town with a unique airstrip and airport named after famous mountaineers Tenzing and Hillary.

From Lukla where walks leads you through many nice farm villages adorned with nice Buddhist religion symbols and monuments of spinning bells with prayer walls where route leads to enter Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo village.

Namche bazaar where once a week busy and colorful Saturday Market is held, interesting place to observe the native of Khumbu with impressive cultures and traditions and as well for short hike to its scenic view points.

From Namche Bazaar after walking for few hours, where route to Gokyo splits heading away from main trails of Namche to Everest base camp, where walk leads you towards hidden areas of Khumbu to reach at beautiful Gokyo valley and its emerald colored glacial lakes.

Walking to high Mong Hill within magnificent backdrop of mighty peaks of Everest, Lhotse with Amadablam includes array of peaks where trek leads into narrow gorge of Dudh Kosi River to reach Dole at 4,110 m high.

From Dole onwards green vegetation and tree lines disappears for short alpine bushes of juniper, dwarf rhododendron known as azalea and prickly Burberry shrubs.

Spring time when wild-flowers are season with various species of rhododendron from trees to bushes in bloom makes the walk more exciting and interesting.
