Everest Panorama Trekking, a moderate adventure with scenic walks to reach beautiful spot at Thyangboche Monastery areas, located on a high plateau surrounded within lush green vegetation and alpine forest of tall silver fir-oaks-rhododendron-pines-magnolia and birch trees with juniper.

From Thyangboche where you can enjoy panorama of world highest peaks with Mt. Everest and magnificent Ama Dablam that rises above this scenic spot of Thyangboche at an altitude above 3,867 m highest point of the trek within high Khumbu valley and Everest region.

Beginning our fabulous Mt. Everest Panorama Trekking from Lukla town after flying in from Kathmandu where walk leads into nice and lovely Sherpa farm villages of Ghat-Phakding and Monjo encountering many prayer monuments known as Mani in Sherpa of Tibetan Buddhism religion and culture.

As walk continues heading higher with daily views of snow capped peaks to reach at famous Namche Bazaar with its colorful houses serving as lodge and hotels, where colorful and busy Saturday market takes place once a week.

With for acclimatization at Namche Bazaar heading much higher with grand views of Everest and adjoining peaks that follows you all the way to scenic Thyangboche Monastery, located within tranquil environment facing panorama of mountains with towering Mt. Everest and series of peaks.

At Thyangboche Monastery explore inner prayer halls and small museum related to Sherpa origin and culture with history of Buddhism, an interesting place to be when great festival called Mani Rimdu takes place once a year in the month of October.

From Thyangboche Monastery areas our walk leads to return journey with visit of quaint and cultural large village of Khumjung located on high glacial valley with an old monastery worth a visit, and then on downhill road to Lukla for the flight back to Kathmandu with outstanding time and adventure on Mt. Everest Panorama Trekking.

  • 1 Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotels.On reaching Kathmandu Tribhuwan International Airport where you will be warmly received by our guide and staff and then transfer you to your respective hotels in the hub of Kathmandu city. First check into your hotel rooms on getting refreshed from the flight and with Jet-Lag, then join with other members of Mt. Everest Panorama trekking for group briefing, where our expert guides will inform regarding your stay in Nepal, hotels, trekking, local lodge and overland drives with do’s and don’ts information, evening welcome group dinner in authentic Nepalese restaurants with Folk cultural programs to entertain you during your meals.
  • 2 Day 2: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour around world heritage sites.Morning after breakfast leave the hotel for exciting guided sightseeing around Kathmandu where our city guide will lead you to places of interest, Kathmandu a metropolitan city still retains its ancient heritage and varied ancient culture where you will visit world heritage sites around Kathmandu for half day or full day. After an interesting and wonderful tour of ancient historical and religious sites around Kathmandu, with afternoon free preparation for next day flight to Lukla for Everest panorama trek.
  • 3 Day 3: Fly to Lukla 2,820m (35 min) and trek to Phakding 2,657 m - 03 hrs.Morning depart from the hotel to Kathmandu domestic airport for exciting and scenic flight of 35 minutes to land at Lukla, a Sherpa town where all treks and adventure starts and ends around Everest and high Khumbu region. From Lukla a gradual walks to begin with short downs and ups and then on winding trail past nice farm villages of Sherpa enriched with Buddhism religion and culture as you encounter rows of Mani (prayer) monuments and large spinning bells. Slowly our pleasant first day walks completes reaching at Phakding a moderate size village with many Good lodges for overnight stop by the bank of glacial Dudh Kosi River.
  • 4 Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 06 hrs.Today walk leads to famous Namche Bazaar where altitude gains as walk progress, morning walk starts following the river and crossing several times to reach at Monjo village near Sagarmatha National Park entrance, from here walking on river valley and gorge covered within nice woodland of tall rhododendron-pines and fir trees. After crossing a high last bridge with few hours climb to Namche Bazaar with stunning views of Everest-Lhotse and Kongde peaks. Namche Bazaar at 4,440 m high an ideal place for rest day to acclimatize, the main town / village of Khumbu where colorful and exciting Saturday market takes place once a week.
  • 5 Day 5: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.Rest day for acclimatization before heading higher terrain, morning after breakfast with options for hike to Everest View Hotel or walk on top of Namche, where you can catch super landscapes scenery with Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam with series of high peaks, here enjoy visiting National Park Museum provides you with much information of Khumbu region, Sherpa history-culture-flora and fauna including detail on mountaineering.
  • 6 Day 6: Trek to Thyangboche Monastery 3,867 m - 05 hrs.Enjoying pleasant time at Namche, morning walk leads to scenic and gradual walks overlooking Everest and other giant peaks, as our route leads downhill to Imjatse river at Phunki Tenga, a small place with few lodges an ideal spot for refreshing break or lunch stop. Afternoon walk leads uphill into enchanting alpine forest to reach a beautiful surrounding at Thyangboche Monastery offering grand panorama of mountains with Everest and Amadablam at close distance, here with time for tour into monastery and witness monks and priest on prayer. Thyangboche also holds a ‘Mani-Rimdu’ a colorful religious festival where monks with mask dancing wading evil spirits which falls in the month of October as per Buddhist lunar calendar.
  • 7 Day 7: Trek to Khumjung 3,725 m on route Namche Bazaar -05 hrs.Morning catching super views of high peaks with Everest, our route descends into forested areas reaching a bridge, from here a slow climb to reach at Khumjung village, located on a glacial valley beneath holy Mt. Khumbila (the patron god of Khumbu Sherpa). Here with time visit its old monastery the only place that treasures a scalp believed to be of ‘Yeti’ where you can witness kept in a safe glass box with some donations.
  • 8 Day 8: Trek to Monjo 2,860 m via Namche Bazaar - 05 hrs.After a pleasant morning with super views of Everest and adjoining peaks, a nice walk leads you at Namche with time for lunch break and stroll around its bazaar with stores and shops, afternoon walk downhill to Dudh Kosi River to reach at Monjo village for overnight stop before Lukla. (Option of walking to Khunde village 3,880 m high where you can visit Khunde hospital built by late Hillary and managed by Hillary Foundation and Himalayan Trust, and then walk towards Namche with downhill to Monjo)
  • 9 Day 9: Trek to Lukla - 04 hrs with afternoon at leisure.Our last walk of the adventure a short trek of few hours following on the same trail back to Lukla past Phakding and Ghat villages crossing few times over Dudh Kosi, with last final climb to reach Lukla town For last overnight stop around high scenic Khumbu and Everest region.
  • 10 Day 10: Fly to Kathmandu and then transfer to your hotels.Morning transfer to Lukla Tenzing and Hillary airport for sweeping short flight to Kathmandu facing scenic views of mountains, green scenery of hills and farm fields with nice villages and towns as flight lands at Kathmandu airport and then back to your hotel, with free afternoon to relax of great memorable time in Mt. Everest Panorama Trekking.
  • 11 Day 11: In Kathmandu spare and contingency day with optional tour.A free day in Kathmandu reserved as contingency in case of flight delay and cancellation at Lukla, which can occur sometimes as Himalayan weather pattern can be unpredictable with bad unfavorable day for flights. Just to be in the safe side if all goes perfect as per the itinerary days, one can enjoy the rest day for individual activities and relaxing or join in for another exciting sightseeing tour around Kathmandu-Patan or Bhaktapur.
  • 12 Day 12: Depart for international flight home ward bound or to respective countries.Your last memorable day in Nepal after a wonderful experience on Mt. Everest Panorama trekking with great service of Explorer Adventure, and as per your international flight then transfer to Kathmandu international airport for homeward bound or to your respective destinations.
