From Phakding village to Namche Bazaar, walk leads on gradual trails with short ups and down and crossing bridges over Dudh Kosi River to reach at Sagarmatha National Park listed in world heritage sites since 1979 (Sagarmatha means Everest in Nepalese while Sherpa calls as Chomolungma means Great Mother in both language).
After Sagarmatha National Park heading into nice alpine forest of tall rhododendron and pines trees with long winding up to reach at famous Namche Bazaar 3,438m/11,280 ft- which is at distance of approx: 11 km takes 5-6 hrs due to high altitude.

Namche Bazaar a large village nearly size of a town with wonderful houses that serves as hotels-lodge with many stores and shops including banks and ATM facilities. At Namche once a week busy and interesting Saturday market held.
From Namche heading higher to Tengboche a place with famous and important monastery which is at 3,870 m and 12,694 ft -10 km takes about 5 hrs or more.
At Tengboche visits its impressive Buddhist monastery with beautiful interior of religious painting, fresco and o0bserve monks and priest on prayer activities, Tengboche located on high small plateau surrounded by green woodland with mountains all around includes views of Mt. Everest and magnificent Amadablam.
After Tengboche heading much higher valley where tree lines drops for short bushes of juniper and rhododendron as walk leads you past Pangboche to reach at Dingboche above 4,360 m /14,300 ft high distance of 9 km with 4-5 hrs walks.
Dingboche located on scenic Imjatse valley beneath North Face of Amadablam with views of Lhotse-Nuptse and Island Peak famous and popular trekking peaks.
Enjoying time at Dingboche next moves takes you to high Lobuche at 4,940 m and 16,207 ft with 07k.m distance apart from Dingboche where walk leads to gradual climb with steep up for an hour from Thugla to reach at Lobuche for overnight stop.
From Lobuche our final and major highlights to reach at Everest Base Camp which is at 5,364 m and 17,594 ft high of 13 km distance from Lobuche where walks takes you above moraine and glacier to reach at Gorakshep 5,170 m/16,961ft high and continue walk to Everest Base Camp.
At Everest Base Camp feeling in high spirit after completing great distance of walks with ups and down to stand beneath world number one at Everest base camp which rises at the height of 8,848 m and 29,028 ft high.

Best Times for Express Everest Base Camp Trekking:
Nearly all months of the year except the monsoon wet times from mid June to mid September, where’s March to May is the best months when most of the days are clear for mountain views with pleasant scenic walks.
Around March to May can be cold in the morning and night time with chances of snow sometimes during the walk around higher areas.
Another good time for walks with excellent views will be from mid September till mid December months when most of the days are crystal clear with blue sky and grand views of mountains could be much colder with freezing temperatures during night and morning time as well in shade away from sunlight.
Extra cold will be when you will be exposed to strong wind chill where trekkers requires adequate gear to withstand the freezing cold and might get snowed during autumn / fall and winter times.
